Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Blood Trail Tracker ("the App") accesses, how it's used, and what, if anything, leaves your device. In short, the App has no backend server, no user accounts, and no advertising or analytics tracking. Almost everything it does happens entirely on your phone.

Camera

The App uses your device's camera to show a live, processed video feed for identifying blood sign. This video is analyzed in real time directly on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere unless you explicitly tap the capture or photo button to save an image. Even then, that image is saved only to your own device's photo gallery.

Location (GPS)

If you grant location permission, the App uses your device's GPS to:

• Show your live distance and bearing to waypoints you've marked
• Let you mark specific points of interest, including your vehicle's location, the spot where a shot hit, and blood-trail waypoints, for reference as you track
• Plot all of the above, and your current position, on the in-app Trail Map

All of these marked locations are stored locally on your device only, for the duration of your session, and are never sent to us or any third party. You can clear them at any time from within the App.

Satellite Map Tiles (only when you choose Satellite mode)

If you switch the Trail Map to Satellite view, the App requests map imagery from Esri's World Imagery service to display real aerial/satellite tiles. This requires an internet connection. As with any map service, that request necessarily includes the coordinates of the area being viewed and your device's IP address, which are handled under Esri's own privacy practices, not ours. Satellite mode is entirely optional. The App's Offline Plot map mode never contacts any external server.

Payment

The App is available as a one-time paid purchase, with no recurring or subscription charge. Payment is processed entirely by Google Play as part of the standard Play Store purchase flow. We never receive, see, or store your payment card or billing details, and no separate purchase or billing data is collected by the App itself.

Data Storage

Any photos or exported trail logs you choose to save are written to your own device's local storage (gallery or downloads folder). We do not have access to this data, cannot see it, and it is never uploaded to us or any third party.

No Ads, No Analytics

The App does not display advertising and does not include any analytics or tracking SDKs. We do not track your usage of the App.

Children's Privacy

The App is a utility tool for hunters and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this same URL with a revised "last updated" date.
